What we collect
Information you give us. The forms on this site ask for some combination of your name, work email address, company name, website URL, WhatsApp or phone number, and a description of what you need. Only the fields marked required are required. The WhatsApp number is optional and used only if you tell us you would rather we reply there.
Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps), kept for security and troubleshooting. Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used, in aggregate. Cloudflare, which serves this site, sets cookies necessary for security and performance.
We do not collect special category data, we do not ask for payment details through this website, and we do not buy contact lists.
Why we use it, and on what basis
Enquiry and case study requests are used to respond to you and to carry out any work that follows. The lawful basis is your request — taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing the contract once there is one.
Newsletter emails are sent only to people who asked for them, on the basis of consent. Every edition has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Analytics and security logging rest on our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works and in keeping it available and unattacked. You can object to this — see Your rights below.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is handled by a small number of providers who process it on our behalf:
- Our hosting provider — stores the site and its database, including form submissions.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, and the Turnstile check that keeps spam off our forms.
- Google — Analytics 4 for site usage, and Gmail for delivering the mail our forms send.
- Calendly — if you book a scoping call, the details of that booking.
We are based in India and some of these providers operate elsewhere, so your information may be processed outside your own country. Where that involves personal data of people in the UK or EEA, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers have in place, including standard contractual clauses.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within two years. Records relating to actual client work are kept for the life of the relationship and for seven years afterwards, which is what tax and contract law requires of us. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a few months.
Cookies
This site sets cookies that are necessary for it to work — security, load balancing, and the Turnstile anti-spam check. It also sets Google Analytics cookies, which are not necessary and which you can refuse by blocking them in your browser or by using a browser extension. WordPress sets a session cookie only if you log in, which applies to our own team rather than visitors.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, ask for it in a portable format, or object to our using it. If you are in the UK or EEA, these are your rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR. If you are in India, you have comparable rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Email [email protected] and we will deal with it within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to your data protection authority — in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, sits behind a web application firewall, and access to the systems holding enquiry data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you and the relevant regulator within the time the law allows.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting people already on our list will be sent by email.
